GCBD recommends standard length for 15-25 handicap or standard length + ½” for a 15 an under handicap or standard length less - 1/2” for 25 an higher handicap.

Graphite shafts are normally cut longer then steel shafts to increase club speed.

Swing weight is a range from C-3 to D-5 making D-5 X-extra stiff and C-3 L-flex . The stiffer shaft offers more control but less distance.
